This face compact contains one Extra Dimension Skinfinish and one Extra Dimension Blush, both are 4.5g in size. The colour of this face compact in person vs. the compact in the pictures on the M.A.C website are worlds apart. On the website, it appears to be quite peach with a blatant warm undertone. However, in person, that's just not the case. At Dusk is much more dusty rose and Tutu is much more icy-cool toned, whereas, on the website it looks very peach and warm toned. Slightly misleading, yes.
You can currently purchase full sized Extra Dimension Skinfinish, which are 9 g / 0.31 oz., for $38.00 CAD. This face compact retails for $42.00 CAD.
The highlighter in this set, (Tutu), is quite lovely. Nothing like any other texture of highlight that I currently own. It can tend to immediately land inside pores, however, so I would take extra caution about prepping the areas where it will be applied. It's very pretty...and very shiny.
The blush, (At Dusk), is not for me...on my skin tone it didn't even show up enough in order to take a picture of the swatch. On the face, after foundation and powder, it took many, many...many dips of my blush brush and on my face to get it to show up. Even then, it was such a subtle colour, it was a struggle to find any blush on my face at all. I fall between an NC15 and an NC20 in MAC terms. I think this blush would work best on very pale skin, and look lovely.
Overall, I wouldn't describe it as "absurdly pretty". But that's just one woman's opinion. I like the highlight, the blush I'll have to get creative and get use of it in other ways. My main complaint is how it's presented on the website vs. what you actually receive.
