Woooo! Round two of Annabelle’s Chrome Single Eyeshadows! Spotted these recently at Shoppers Drug Mart, had to pick them up, of course. Loved the original release of these and was hoping for new colours to be added to the line up.

If you’re not familiar with these shadows, here’s the description: (source)

An exceptional creamy texture for either a hint of shimmer or a bold metallic finish: you choose!

• Striking metallic foil finish

• First chrome eyeshadow on the mass market!

• Soft, creamy texture

• Buildable, long-lasting formula

I’ve an older post, here, on the first five shades from last year.

Won’t be going too terribly in to detail on this post. Mainly here to get up some swatches for those that might be lookin’ in to these or are interested in choosing a few shades, etc…

What I will say, is…if you have used these shadows in the past and maybe found them difficult to pick up, either on a brush/applicator or your finger…I found that taking something, like a small cosmetics spatula and stirring up the product in the pot, makes a world of difference in how these perform. I’m talkin’ find whatever, to mix with, and smoosh them and stir them all up in the pot, wipe the excess back in to the pot and then try to apply them to your eyes.

This will make the shadows more of a whipped texture and makes picking up product soooo much easier. Might take a bit to get used to them after the fact, as it does take them from being more sheer to more opaque.

Swatches taken under 5000K fluorescent lighting. My skin tone runs around a NC/NW 20ish in this photo.

Video of these swatches are up on my Instagram page.

Have you tried out the Annabelle Chrome shadows? I’d love to hear your thoughts on them!
