Kristals Diamond Select Anti-Gravity Spark Eye Mask
Skin virtually defies gravity when enhanced with the power of pure diamond as it lifts and firms while brightening and hydrating, building a cushion of density into time-thinned skin that helps erase the look of fine lines and wrinkles. Pure diamond powder also sloughs off old cells, making skin luminous by enabling youthful skin within to appear, reducing the appearance of sun damage.
A set of concentrated eye treatment masks that instantly restore vibrancy and moisture to the eye area. These eye masks work to dramatically reduce the appearance of wrinkles in the eye area. While brightening and minimizing dark circles, they plump the skin with hydration and refine texture for softer, smoother, healthier-looking skin. Diamond powder works in harmony with Collagen; the combination makes collagen contract and firm to reduce skin sagging and wrinkles. The mixture of Lavender Oil and Chamomile penetrates skin instantly to seal in ingredients’ essence to refine skin’s surface for 24-hour hydration.
I was sent a sample of two sets of eye masks, ( 4 pieces). These maskes come in a box of 12 eye masks and retail for approximately $399.95 USD. They are currently on sale for 25% off for a total of $299.95/box. This makes each mask worth approximately $33.33 USD at regular price...so...the two masks that came in Glossybox hold an approx. value of $66.66 USD.
I have yet to test these out. When I do, I will update my thoughts. The price instantly makes me skeptical, I can't lie. But we'll see. I may eat my words haha. The Lavender Oil doesn't excite me, however. I will only be testing these out at night time, because of the Lavender.
Luxie Onyx Noir Small Tapered Blending Brush 231
Our Luxie small tapered blending brush is held by a luscious pink handle and enticing rose gold ferrule. Soft synthetic bristles of a cruelty-free blend make it a vegan makeup brush. Chiseled to the perfect size, this eyeshadow brush is ideal for precise and blended makeup application.
This brush retails for approximately $16.00 USD. It's quite soft, so far seems of good quality. I need to used it more and put it through it's paces in order to come to a final conclusion. I'll update as needed.
MeMeMe Beat the Blues - Oyster Gold
These are our best-selling hero products and are ideal for creating a youthful dewy finish.
Whether it’s a golden glow or a pearly pink sheen you desire, simply dot along brow and cheek bones to highlight and accentuate or mix with foundation for an all over shimmer.
Beat the Blues feature light-reflecting pigments to add radiance and a healthy, youthful glow.
No MeMeMe products are tested on animals.
This illuminator/highlighter is slightly thick and gloopy and comes housed in, what is basically, a traditional nail polish bottle. I don't like the applicator, and I would suggest placing some on the back of your hand or on a mixing palette and then applying to the skin from there. Considering it's thickness, I find this highlight to be quite sheer and not terribly build-able. So, good if you're looking for something that's very natural. If you're not careful, you could easily blend this away in to nothingness.
This highlighter retails for approximately $9.00 USD.
MDMflow Semi-Matte Lipstick - Bossy
Another ode to our She-Hero Kelis. The first girl to scream on a track, switch up the beat of the drum & bring all the boys to the yard! Ultimately you do need to be THE boss to wear this lipstick!
MDM flow Lipstick is a bold, handmade lip colour designed to provide extreme coverage with a creamy finish.
With its full-coloured lipstick, MDM flow provides a range which is specially designed to bring out the hip-hop style within its wearer. These unique lip colours provide a flawless finish, whilst the Vitamin E component naturally promotes the moisture of the lips.
MDM flow is the perfect lipstick for the girls who want to be noticed and with the range of striking colours available, your lips will command the room.
Did you know? At least two of the shades are inspired by hip-hop star Kelis.
This lipstick retails for approximately $18.00 USD. Fair warning: I don't have anything good to say about this lipstick. Well...maybe the packaging. It's cute. But the product itself...it's the worst lipstick that I have ever experienced in my life. And I'm old. It is the driest, stiffest, most uncomfortable lipstick, ever. It feels like it's actually a stiff lipliner, just formed in to the shape of a lipstick. Is this just really old stock that was sent out to us? Or is this what the formula is supposed to be like? I don't know, but this first impression does not make me want to purchase anything from them, ever. And at that price...absolutely not.
This month's Glossybox had an approximate retail value of over $110.00 USD. A couple of the products I don't like, and some of the remaining items, we'll see. I have mixed feelings on this month's box, personally.
