What it includes:
6 x 0.08 oz. / 2.4 g (ea.) Be Legendary Cream Lipsticks:
1 x Insta-Matte Lipstick Transformer 0.16 fl. oz. / 5 ml.
In Canada, this set is available at Sephora as well as Shopper's Drug Mart at select Beauty Boutique locations. Online at Sephora.com and Beautyboutique.ca and retails for approximately $36.00 CAD, making each mini lipstick approximately $6.00 CAD each, in value. We'll call the Insta-Matte free!....or we can call each item in this set approximately $5.14 CAD.
However you choose to look at the value of this set, I consider it well worth the $36.00 CAD, regardless. Each lipstick contained is a permanent colour in the Be Legendary line, and is a fantastic way of trying out the formula and the colours for yourself, before deciding if you'd like to invest on the full size of a specific colour.
The formula of these lipsticks, in my opinion, is beautiful. Creamy and comfortable, but not so creamy that they've managed to migrate up to your eyebrows by the end of the day. I've not experienced any bleeding in to fine lines and the staying power is quite good (depending on what you're doing throughout the day, of course.)
I love the esthetic of these Light It Up sets. I think they've managed to get the feel of neon spot on with the outer packaging. If you read about Meryl Pataky's view on light, I get exactly what she is saying when I look at this packaging. I think this collection was perfectly executed. Love it.
This lipstick set has come in to stock, back out of stock and back in to stock again, since it's release, (at least here in Canada). Upon the initial release, I wasn't quick enough to get my hands on a set. However, Sephora did eventually get it back in stock. The moment I received the e-mail that it was back, click click click, bought & shipped.
If you have your eye on this set, I wouldn't hesitate. If you're thinking of gifting this set, or even breaking up the lipsticks and gifting, (they'd make excellent stocking stuffers, etc...), I wouldn't hesitate. I really cannot recommend this set enough to anyone. I think it's one of thee best holiday sets available, thus far, for 2016.
